Thousands of Rail Walks Now Available Online!

From this page, you can find thousands of walks from and between railway stations, all over Britain.  They are organised in three different ways below:  

1. Our supporters have been recording hundreds of walks, and submitting them to the page below, as explained here.  Please join our mailing list to hear more and help us.

2. Slow Ways, our partner organisation, is creating a national network of walks between towns and cities.  Nearly 2000 of these are station-to-station walks.*  They are working on a new system which should enable us to combine these walks with our own.

3. Many other organisations and individuals have been creating their own walks by rail.  You can find over 60 of their websites organised by region and nation below

Our supporters' walks, and Slow Ways, use gpx files, which you can download and follow on a mapping app, such as OS Maps, Outdooractive or Alltrails.  The videos on this page explain how to do this.
