Cardiff Parks (Sunday Social)

This walk will be done at a steady pace, with time to pause and enjoy the river and woodland along the Taff Trail and stop off for a couple of drinks on the way. We will follow trails, some may be paved but others will be dirt or gravel.

From Cardiff Central we will head towards Servini's at the Summerhouse where we will cross the River Taff and begin following it up the western bank before cutting across the university campus and past Llandaff Cathedral, where we have the opportunity to pop into a pub or cafe. 

We will then head on to Llandaff Bridge where we will cross so that we can return along the Taff Trail, down the rivers east bank through Gabalfa Woods and the Bute Park Riverside where we will stop at the Secret Garden Cafe for a drink and/ or light snack.

We then have a short diversion through the grounds of Cardiff Castle and into the main city shopping area, leading back to the station.
