Pontlottyn to Bargoed

The walk climbs steeply up out of Pontlottyn to the open moorland. Then tracks and forestry lead to the visitor centre at Parc Cwm Darran for a break / early lunch. Then another climb to the the ridge, with open views across the valley. Passing a ruined chapel and after crossing a stream the route follows a small valley leading down to the cycle route back to Bargoed.
